With a reputation for excellent customer service, this community gem is a great spot to beat the heat on a hot summer day! They’re open for takeout at their outdoor window and recently announced the opening of their dining room. In addition to ice cream and water ice, you can also order ice cream cakes – either traditional with ice cream and cookie crunchies or layered homemade Piazza’s ice cream with cake from Piazza’s Bakery. Waffle nachos with ice cream scoops is another unique favorite!

Moo Hope Ice Cream

In the summer of 2012, four men with deep Southampton roots united with a collective goal of bringing an exceptional pub-style restaurant to the area. A place where locals can experience outstanding food and drinks, served with an unpretentious attitude in a lively environment. A station that for hundreds of years was the heart and soul of the community, connecting the Bucks County suburb to the rest of the country and allowing Southampton to thrive economically and become the remarkable area it is today. With a combined 70 years of restaurant and bar experience, these four Southampton men, anchored by the exquisite and innovative culinary skills of executive chef Brendan Gillespie, hope to parallel the train station’s long and incredible history by servicing the community for years to come. The Pineville Tavern

Built in the 18th century, the Pineville Tavern has served as a feed mill, a general store, a hotel and now, one of Bucks County’s favorite taverns. It’s open 7 days a week from 11 am – 9 pm and takeout is 7 days a week, 11 am – 8 pm. Reservations and takeout orders can be made on the website.

Newportville Inn

Snipes Farm Market

Summer is THE time for the best fresh produce! Farm Market is open on Saturdays 9 am-1 pm, May-November. To get weekly shares of fresh vegetables and fruits of the season, become a CSA member! Members pick up 8 to 12 items of produce every week from the hands of our farmers, June to November. All produce is certified organic and grown right there at the farm! In addition to veggies like head lettuce, spinach, asparagus and radishes, they also sell herb, vegetable and flowering plants, annuals and perennials for your garden. You’ll also find flower bouquets, their home-grown wellness tonic “Mighty Cider,” honey, fruit butters, and their new CBD tincture and salve made from hemp organically grown on Snipes Farm. Plus – half of the food grown at Snipes Farm is donated to people in need, so it’s a great local business to support.

Churchville Nature Center

Churchville Nature Center has 2 miles of nature trails across the preserve that is home to several habitats. The visitor center houses live animal displays, a gift shop and a naturalist room with books and an indoor view of the bird blind. The butterfly house re-opens to the public on July 6th and it’s encouraged to call to schedule a time to visit. Painted Lady Butterfly kits are available to raise your own butterfly at home. There’s also a natural playground and picnic grove, open year round for visitor use.
