Fashion designer Mary Katrantzou’s collaboration with master perfumer Alberto Morillas resulted in a new fragrance for Bulgari’s Omnia collection. Omnia by Mary Katrantzou, is a vibrant floral eau de parfum echoing the fashion designer’s maximalist and bold style. Inspired by Katrantzou’s favourite flower, the gardenia, Morillas blends its generous floral hues with the luminous notes of mandarin and the freshness of fig leaves.

Additionally, the bottle will sit pretty on your dressing table; it is wonderfully vibrant, reinventing Omnia’s iconic infinity shape in a play of colours including orange and pink with a multi-faceted bi-colour effect. It also comprises layers of lush petals rendered in spectacular shades of glass that are reminiscent of both Bulgari gems and Mary Katrantzou prints. For those who prefer sweet and joyful scents that remind you of your youth, you can’t go wrong with this.

If you’re throwing on a Chanel tweed jacket for your dinner date, pair it with Chanel’s new eau de toilette, Paris-Edimbourg. It’s the fifth member of the Les Eaux De Chanel collection, which is inspired by founder Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite destinations. This scent pays homage to the wild Scottish countryside and is the earthiest, most androgynous and woodiest of Les Eaux De Chanel. The unisex fragrance starts as a powerful burst of juniper berry and cypress and evolves into a warm vetiver accord with earthy undertones and smoky accents, leaving behind a comforting trail.

The ideal fragrance should be able to not only smell good but feel good, too. The Cologne Forte collection by Maison Francis Kurkdjian includes three new variations of the Maison’s Aqua fragrances that are fresh and inviting. Founder Francis Kurkdijian believes that the main idea behind these new fragrances is “to convey freshness through the sensations induced by light”. Aqua Universalis Cologne is clean and fresh, featuring Bergamot from Calabria and the sweetness of a white musk accord are intertwined with an effervescent surge of diaphanous white flowers, such as mock orange and sweet pea. Aqua Vitae is supposed to symbolise the sun at its peak; the fragrance includes Mandarin from Italy, giving it a bright freshness to the bergamot, leading to a luminous citrusy and sunny floral scent. The Aqua Celestia is the fruitiest scent among the three, containing fruity notes of blackcurrant, mimosa (with its raspberry and blackberry facets) and jasmine. It’s a bright and clean scent that’s perfect for long wear and can take you from day to night.
