Armed robbery at OC browsing center prompts SWAT reaction

An armed robbery at a shopping mall in Orange County prompted a SWAT reaction late Saturday night.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Section responded to a connect with of an armed theft at The Retailers at Mission Viejo about 8:30 p.m. In accordance to authorities, an armed male carrying an orange or purple wig and all-black outfits held up a Nordstrom retail store. 

The suspect brandished a weapon and fled with an not known sum of hard cash. No shots were being fired, the sheriff’s office stated.
