
The metro area’s only complete-services spa for adult men celebrates five years in small business in September, but it’s previously unwrapped its present: This June, Legendary Male Grooming Spa opened its next site in Creve Coeur. LN spoke with proprietor Jessica Brown about the spa’s successes, its issues and what Iconic Male’s recent growth suggests for the metro location.
“I come to feel like [the new location] will give a larger arrive at,” Brown states. “We selected that location [because] there are a large amount of offices there with our possible purchasers.”
Of class, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has impacted this strategic positioning, as some space offices possibly keep on being closed or have staff operating remotely or on a hybrid timetable. That has not dampened the barbershop and spa’s optimism, nevertheless.
“We are St. Louis’ No. 1 spa for males,” Brown claims. “We offer expert services from haircuts to straight-razor shaves, manicures and pedicures, facials, complete-body waxing and massage.”
Reviewers rave about the refined vibes and down-to-earth specialists, and a complimentary bar proves to be a prime crowd-pleaser.
“I consider my son below to get his hair cut frequently,” claims Sarah Johnson of St. Louis in an online post. “My husband bought the finest haircut of his lifetime below, and he stated he loves the perks … Anyone is so qualified and pleasant!”
Clients, or “icons” as the spa phone calls them, are very valued by the workers, Brown describes. In a show of appreciation and care, the first locale in Ballwin a short while ago held a raffle to profit just one of its clientele who is undergoing a next fight from brain most cancers. The substantial gift basket highlighted a range of bourbons, a Jack Black facial kit and two branded whiskey glasses. The proceeds supported the client’s household as he underwent remedy at Rochester, Minnesota’s Mayo Clinic.
